Travel Assist
Travel Assist integrates several systems and functions. When they areinterconnected, the car can make driving a lot easier and increase travelling comfort. Once activated, Travel Assist can automatically stop and restart, keep the car in lane or follow other vehicles in a traffic jam. Customers can choose between Travel Assist and the superior Travel Assist Plus version.
Adaptive Cruise Control
The Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) maintains a safe distance from the vehicle ahead at a selected speed, controlling the engine and actuating the brakes to automatically accelerate or decelerate as needed. The system combines a cruise control system with a radar-based distance controller and is active up to 210 km/h.
Predictive Cruise Control
The new Predictive Cruise Control expands the adaptive cruise control’s functions. Besides keeping track of the traffic ahead, it also processes recognised travel signs and speed limits stored in the navigation system. This enables it to adjust speed in good time, for example when it is approaching a bend, a roundabout, or an i ntersection, or in response to speed limits.
Auto Light Assist
Auto Light Assist automatically turns the full beam on and off depending on the current traffic situation. It detects light sources with a camera installed at the foot of the rear-view mirror.
